Welcome! I’m Emma Louise Bennett

Hello!
I am a certified menopause and wellbeing coach with over two decades of professional experience in education, leadership, and organisational training. I understand how profoundly midlife and menopause can affect women at work. Low energy, brain fog, reduced confidence, and unspoken struggle are not personal failings. They are workplace realities that too often go unsupported.
Having lived through perimenopause myself, I bring both lived experience and expert training to my work. I have seen first-hand how capable, high-performing women can begin to withdraw, doubt themselves, or leave roles entirely when organisations lack the awareness, language, and structures to support them.
I created The Empowerful Club to change this.
Through evidence-informed workplace training, leadership education, and menopause-friendly accreditation, I support organisations to meet their legal responsibilities, implement meaningful reasonable adjustments, and build cultures where women can remain healthy, confident, and productive throughout midlife.
This work goes beyond awareness sessions. It equips leaders, managers, HR teams, and employees with practical tools, clear frameworks, and compliant policies that protect both people and organisations.
For organisations committed to reducing risk, retaining talent, and becoming genuinely menopause-friendly workplaces, I provide the clarity, credibility, and structure to make that happen.
My Story
When I first began experiencing perimenopause, it did not look like the picture I had been told to expect. My earliest symptoms were unexpected and confusing. A burning mouth. Burning feet. Symptoms I would never have associated with hormones. Then came the brain fog, anxiety, a sharp drop in confidence, and a growing sense that I was no longer myself.
That is why this work is so personal to me.
At the time, I had spent over 21 years as a teacher and leader, working in high-responsibility roles and building a career I cared deeply about. Yet as my symptoms intensified, my professional life began to suffer. Tasks that had once felt effortless required more energy, more focus, and more resilience than I had available. I was still capable, still committed, but I was struggling in ways I could not explain or safely articulate at work.
Eventually, the pressure became too much. I stepped away from the role I had dedicated much of my life to, not because I lacked ability or ambition, but because I could not see a supportive, informed pathway forward.
That experience fundamentally shaped my work.
Determined to understand what had happened, I immersed myself in Positive Psychology, neuroscience, menopause wellbeing, and transformational coaching. I retrained so I could combine lived experience with evidence-based, workplace-relevant tools. Through this process, I learned how clarity, confidence, and energy can be rebuilt, and how organisations play a critical role in whether women stay, thrive, or quietly disengage during midlife.
I created The Empowerful Club because women should not have to leave roles they are skilled, experienced, and passionate about simply because menopause is misunderstood or unsupported at work.
Today, I work with organisations to provide menopause-aware training, leadership education, and accreditation frameworks that move beyond awareness and into action. This includes practical guidance on reasonable adjustments, inclusive policies, and creating cultures where women feel safe, valued, and supported to perform at their best.
I believe that when women are supported to reclaim their energy, confidence, and self-trust at work, the impact extends far beyond the individual. Retention improves. Leadership strengthens. Cultures become healthier.
Women in midlife are not a risk to manage. They are an asset to protect.
And that is exactly what this work exists to support.
My Approach
I understand how difficult it is for women to continue performing at work when exhaustion, brain fog, and reduced confidence begin to take hold. Many remain highly capable and committed, yet quietly struggle to focus, communicate their needs, or sustain the energy required in demanding roles. Too often, these challenges are misunderstood or unsupported within workplace environments.
That is why I have developed a workplace approach grounded in Positive Psychology, neuroscience, and menopause wellbeing. This work is not about “fixing” individuals. It is about equipping organisations with the knowledge, language, and structures required to support women effectively and lawfully through midlife transitions.
Through evidence-informed training and accreditation, I work with leaders, managers, HR teams, and employees to build practical understanding of menopause in the workplace. This includes clear guidance on reasonable adjustments, psychologically safe conversations, and inclusive policies that enable women to remain confident, engaged, and productive at work.
My approach focuses on sustainable change rather than one-off awareness sessions. Organisations are supported to embed menopause-friendly practices into their culture, reducing risk, improving retention, and strengthening leadership capability.
When workplaces are informed, compassionate, and compliant, women do not lose their spark. They stay visible, valued, and able to contribute at their best.
That is the standard I help organisations achieve.
